What is
Me and My Object?
Me And My Object is a photographic series
that has been forming in my mind for some time. We all define
ourselves in a variety of ways, our beliefs, our actions,
our looks, and increasingly by what we possess. Our clothes,
our belongings all are personal and can be used to define
or strengthen the character of a person. This series delves
into how we perceive ourselves through our belongings. The
models all chose one object that either means the most to
them on a personal level, or they feel says the most about
themselves, sometimes it covers both.
This project revolves around the person
and that object in isolation, no set, just a white background
this focuses the attention on the relationship and the object
takes on a level of importance that equals and sometimes surpasses
that of the person.
Most of all this project is a personal
exploration and as such is evolving over time and so will
the site as it is updated with more pictures. If you wish
